Governor Cooper has vetoed House Bill 49, ensuring concealed firearms are only kept in the hands of trained civilians. This is a HUGE victory, and it's all thanks to you!

We asked and you delivered! Hundreds of action takers like you sent letters to Governor Cooper, demanding that individuals that have failed to renew their carry concealed permit undergo basic retraining every five years to prove they remain capable of safely handling a firearm. We've taken a stand together to maintain basic safety in North Carolina, and we're not done yet.
