As Frontline Chair in charge of helping vulnerable Democrats ahead of November’s elections, I’m seeing them get challenged by far-right opponents who are in line with Trump’s “Big Lie” and plan to limit our rights — and they’re winning a lot of their primaries.

We can’t afford to lose against them, there’s too much at risk. But if Republicans pick up just 4 seats, they’ll gain control of the House.

Now those very same far-right extremists are reporting record-setting fundraising in the second quarter, which is money they can use to run more misleading attacks. Nationwide, the threat to our democracy couldn’t be bigger.

Even in my own district, around half of my voters are new and have never seen me on the ballot before and now I’m facing an extremist challenger with big fundraising goals.

John, we’re up against a lot and there’s only a little over 100 days left until the midterm elections to turn this around.

Now that Roe v. Wade is overturned, and other landmark civil rights cases are being threatened, what's at stake this election season is literally life and death.
