My mom taught me the importance of voting so I’ve been involved in politics my whole life, but I’m fighting so hard right now for the candidates our nation needs because I’ve seen firsthand the wrong direction that extreme candidates and politicians can take our country. I knew I needed to get in the fight even more vocally to save our democracy and our country.
That’s why I’m supporting Gretchen Whitmer in the Michigan governor’s race. She’s tough, tested, and resilient, and she knows how to get things done for the people of Michigan.
But here’s the thing: I’ve seen her opponents and they’re as radical as it gets. From proposing near-total bans on abortion to cuts to children’s education, they’re running on extreme platforms that would set Michigan back.
That’s why I’m asking you to give $5 or whatever you can today to help Gretchen Whitmer fight back. There’s too much at stake to lose here, and this is a tough fight we must win.
