Happy 713 Day! Today, we celebrate all that’s great about Houston on the date of our original area code. And there are a million things to celebrate — so many of them the people and places in #TX07.
Today, I am thinking about all things 713 as I work in Washington on the things that matter to us at home, and to people everywhere. I have always said that people here could learn a thing or two from the way we do things in Houston. And it is as true today as ever.
This campaign is about making sure the true Texas values of our most diverse community are the ones reflected to the rest of the country — from #TX07 and across the state. We have work to do this year to make sure we show it in the November elections. I know that together, we can do it!
