78% believe democracy is under attack

Hello,

The January 6th special committee resumed their public hearings yesterday with the latest evidence and testimony into the Jan. 6th insurrection.

Yesterday’s hearing was a critical look into the ways former president Trump and his MAGA allies summoned far-right militant groups to D.C. ahead of the deadly riot on the U.S. Capitol.

Whether Trump and his MAGA allies will be held accountable with criminal charges or at the ballot box in November remains to be seen. But here is what Michigan voters have to say about the investigation[1]

  • 55% of voters are paying attention to the public hearings and the evidence presented
  • 46% said Trump should be charged with a crime
  • 51% said the Jan. 6 attack was a coup attempt on the American government
  • 78% believe democracy is under attack

We know Michigan is a critical battleground state this year (that’s why Trump is dumping millions of dollars into key races here) and MAGA Republicans are going to be on the ballot.

We need to come together to make sure voters are thinking about MAGA’s threat to our democracy and the role key MAGA allies played in the Jan. 6 attack when they cast their ballots this November.

Chip in $10 or any amount today to help Michigan Democrats defeat the MAGA movement in Michigan. Together, we can turn out voters in numbers so high, MAGA Republicans won’t stand a chance!
