John,
As Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan’s campaign manager, I track a lot of numbers – from our fundraising numbers to the number of voters we’ve contacted to calculating the time it’s going to take to get from one event to another.
But out of everything on my mind right now, I’m most concerned about one thing in particular: Not reaching our 5,000 individual contributions goal by our rapidly approaching public fundraising deadline this coming Monday, July 18.
Ours is one of the closest governor’s races in the entire country, so every time our numbers are made public, they’re heavily scrutinized – by pundits, Republican super PACs, and of course, our extreme far-right GOP opponents, Scott Jensen and Matt Birk.
On top of that, the Jensen-Birk campaign launched a six-figure ad campaign yesterday to attack Governor Walz, so falling short of this goal in full view of the public would be even more devastating.
I’ll be honest, John, with less than five days to go, we still have A LOT of ground to make up. Can you send a donation that works for you today to help us climb back and prove that our campaign for One Minnesota is stronger than ever?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Thank you so much. I can’t overstate how grateful we are for everything you do for this campaign.

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota. Can you pitch in $5 now to help them stop extremism and keep Minnesota in DFL hands?
