I’m Bri, the finance director here at the Democratic Party of Georgia, which means my job revolves around money.

When one of our emails talks about “crunching the numbers,” you can be sure I’m the person with the spreadsheet poring over our fundraising for the month.

And that’s actually the reason why I’m sending you this email. When I looked over my spreadsheets this morning, I realized we’re unfortunately behind where we need to be by mid-July, so I wanted to ask:

Can you make a quick donation to the Georgia Dems? If we can raise $8,000 by the end of the day, we’ll catch up to where we need to be.

As we approach Election Day, our goals have to get more aggressive (so we can counter Republicans’ big spending), which means our deadlines also have to get more aggressive.

Even so, I’ve seen the power of our grassroots supporters first hand, and I know that you always come through for us. I also know that with all of you behind us, we’ll re-elect Reverend Raphael Warnock in November, hold the U.S. Senate, and elect Stacey Abrams as the FIRST Black woman governor in American history.

So, please, if you can spare a few dollars, pitch in to help us raise $8,000 by the end of today!
