As we hurtle toward the midterm elections, the far right continues to circulate false narratives about immigrants and immigration to evoke fears over scarcity and safety. They did it after the tragedy in San Antonio, and again when they deployed the National Guard to detain and deport migrants in Texas last week. 

Many of us have been wondering: can we counter the appeal of these false narratives with our own deep narratives of interdependence, belonging, and abundance and win over Americans? Yes, we can.
