Dear John,
In broad swaths of the country where abortion is now banned, we know that people are being harmed without health care access. People are being forced to travel long distances out of state to get care, choose between paying bills or pulling together care funds, or in some circumstances forced to give birth.
This is a public health emergency. In response, Dr. Kristyn Brandi - PRH Board Chair and New Jersey ob/gyn and abortion provider - will testify this morning before the U.S. Senate about this escalating crisis, its impact on communities who are already marginalized from care, and how abortion bans are preventing providers from offering high quality evidence-based care.

PRH advocates like Dr. Brandi will never stop fighting for our fundamental rights – they will continue to respond to the needs of patients, speak out against all efforts to control and coerce communities, and advocate for proactive measures to expand abortion access at the federal and state levels.
Thank you for your partnership at this critical time.
Sincerely,
