CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS ANTI-AMERICAN



This Resolution was passed at the State Central Committee Meeting of the Independent American Party of Nevada (Constitution Party affiliate)



Another reason why Americans need to help elect Constitution Party candidates.

Whereas, our Founding Documents proclaim “all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights”; and



Whereas, Critical Race Theory (CRT) is hostile towards these foundational principles; and



Whereas, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, skin color, religion, national origin and disability, and has been the law of the land since that time; and



Whereas, America has given people from all racial backgrounds, the most opportunities and liberties of any nation on Earth;



Whereas, those who advocate for CRT claim that the United States of America is a structurally racist country, which is blatantly false; and



Whereas, promoters of CRT would destroy the First Amendment by limiting the free speech of those who have different opinions through devices like “political correctness”, claims of “hate speech”, and indoctrination through the media; and



Whereas, CRT infringes on the people’s civil and constitutional rights by limiting free speech and indoctrinating our society to oppose basic American values; and



Whereas, adherents to CRT are polluting our schools and indoctrinating our children with Anti-American CRT, hate for America and distorted history, creating a hostile learning environment, while eliminating true American history, the principles of liberty and patriotism; and



Whereas, parents do not want their children indoctrinated in CRT, parents want real American history and the basics of reading, writing, arithmetic, civil behavior and useful life skills taught in the schools, and



Whereas, CRT teaches white children to hate themselves adding to the critical problems of youth suicide; and



Whereas, our liberal colleges are breeding grounds for CRT and are helping to destroy our country and our liberties by teaching fabricated history like the 1619 Project; and



Therefore, be it resolved, that the Independent American Party celebrates America and our Founders for their wisdom and foresight in creating the freest nation on earth and will do what we can to expose the lie that is Critical Race Theory.
