Returning to school will be challenging for many students. For those who are new to the country, it will be even more challenging.  These learners will need tools to stay organized and connections to caring adults and peers to be successful.  

Our goal is to fill 600-700 backpacks with age-appropriate supplies and personal notes of encouragement for students enrolled in elementary, middle and high school or in GED and workforce training programs.

Each age appropriate backpack will include supplies such as: 

• FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLERS: pencils, markers, colored pencils, notebooks, folders 
• FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS: notebooks, binders, pencils, pens, highlighters and pencil pouches.
• FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS: Binders, dividers, lined paper, folders, pencils, pens and notebooks.
• FOR GED STUDENTS:  earphones, a cell phone charger case, stress balls and more. 
• and a handwritten note of encouragement inside each backpack.
