Welcome to the second edition of The Susie Lee Gazette! November was a busy
month for our campaign, so we want to give you a quick recap with campaign
highlights and what we’ve been up to in and around Nevada’s Third District.


🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans Every Day 🇺🇸

Susie had the honor of celebrating the brave men and women who serve our
country in the Las Vegas Veterans Day parade, which is the largest parade west
of the Mississippi to honor our country’s veterans.

Susie understands a parade in their honor isn’t enough. That’s why she’s
working hard for our veterans in Congress by introducing legislation which
would ensure veterans are aware that they have access to medical services
provided by the VA. Because we must honor those who make our freedom possible
every day of the year.
 
🎓 Reining in the Cost of Higher Education 🎓

The cost to receive a higher education has skyrocketed in our country. That’s
why Susie is leading the charge in Congress to rein in the costs of going to
college. She’s taking the fight to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos over student
loan forgiveness, and she’s working to give Americans of all backgrounds the
opportunity to receive a high-quality education.

Susie had an amazing day celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. Not only
did she prepare the whole meal for her family, but she also gave us a glimpse
into her world-famous stuffing! We hope you and your family had a wonderful
Thanksgiving as well.
 
📰 Important Campaign Update 📰

Now that Susie and the team are recharged from the Thanksgiving break, we’re
ready to take on December and head into 2020 with everything we’ve got.

It’s critical we start this month on a good foot because while families were
celebrating Thanksgiving, within earshot were attack ads against Susie on their
TV screens. A far-right Super PAC is spending half a million dollars to prime
our seat for a right-wing extremist.

As we approach our public fundraising deadline at the end of this month, we
need to show our campaign is ready for a fight. If we fall short or show we’re
even a little bit vulnerable, even more dark money groups will dedicate
resources towards defeating Susie.
