To get into the holiday spirit, Trump is taking food off the table for 700,000 Americans by ending their SNAP benefits.

More than 40 million people are food insecure in America. I know what it’s like to have to rely on support from the community to get by. Making people go hungry while giving tax cuts to billionaires and corporations is wrong.

Let’s be clear: when it comes to Trump, cruelty is the strategy.

This inhumanity must end.

Above all: Food is a human right. No one in America should be going hungry.

That’s why I won’t just defend SNAP. I’ll expand it.

I’m the only candidate with a plan to end hunger, and I refuse to leave our most vulnerable behind.
