John,
With Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter looking very much in doubt, I wanted to remind you that Big Tech companies are going to do everything in their power to censor viewpoints that don’t align with their own.
It has been widely reported that Twitter and Google have been engaged in rampant viewpoint censorship.
They’ve even covertly communicated with government officials to silence conservative influencers!
Which is why we’re suing Twitter for its unconstitutional collusion with now-U.S. Senator Alex Padilla in censoring conservative commentator Rogan O’Handley for simply asking questions about election integrity.
You see, it doesn’t matter who owns Twitter.
Our lawsuit isn’t just about Twitter.
It’s about the blatant violations of free speech that are occurring daily.
It’s about holding bureaucrats and corporate activists accountable for their misdeeds.
It’s about the unholy collusion between “Big Tech” and “Big Government” to censor conservatives.
Most importantly, it’s about preserving free exchange in the modern marketplace of ideas.
If only one side gets to have a publicly voiced opinion, then we don’t really live in a nation with free speech.
And if Big Tech companies get to collude with the government to decide which side is allowed to speak, then we don’t have a First Amendment – or a constitution.
That’s why our lawsuit against Twitter and Sen. Padilla is so important.
If you and I don’t stand up and fight back now, it’ll be too late and Big Tech companies will continue to work with leftist bureaucrats to trample your rights.
But, with your support, we have a real chance.
Because at the Center for American Liberty, we don’t just take on cases…
… we WIN them.
And, though the battle may be long, I believe this lawsuit is one that we will add to our collection of victories.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
