At today's Jan 6 hearing, Congressman Jamie Raskin connected the dots
proving that Trump coordinated with far-right extremist groups to incite
the violent mob that attacked the Capitol.
MSNBC described it as the most momentous hearing yet.
By the time today's hearing was over, a witness familiar with the
inside-workings of the Oath Keepers testified that "We've been lucky that
we haven't seen more bloodshed yet....The potential for violence was so
much more. I fear for this next election cycle."
Former prosecutor and moderate Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill said on
MSNBC, "I really think there’s enough evidence here to indict...I think it
is a big risk to not do it." It is time for Merrick Garland to do his
job. Failure to hold ALL those who broke the law legally accountable will
allow future attacks to succeed and the threat to our democracy will only
grow.

This was -- and still is -- an attack on our vote, our voice, and our
democracy. The threat will continue and grow until those who broke the law
are held accountable.
We must hold those involved in this criminal conspiracy accountable --
even if they are former Presidents or members of Congress -- in order to
protect our right to vote and choose our own leaders.
