Friend, the landmark decision by the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade not only took away a right that has existed in this country for nearly 50 years, but it also poses a serious threat to the health of many Americans.

This is why President Joe Biden's executive order, aimed at protecting abortion rights and contraception access, is not just a welcome relief – it is the RIGHT THING TO DO. 

Now, President Biden is going a step further. Despite fervent opposition from the GOP, he has demanded Congress codify the protections of Roe v. Wade into federal law, and he's willing to change the rules of the filibuster to do it.
