North Carolina’s state motto is “ esse quam videri ” -- to be rather than to seem. It means you ought to walk the walk and live up to what you say you're going to do.

But Thom Tillis has failed to live up to our standards. Here’s the truth:

The Charlotte Observer on Senator Tillis: "He flips like a fish on a dock, sometimes within weeks, such as when he expressed grave concerns in a February op-ed about Trump's national emergency declaration to fund a wall on the southern border, then voted to support it less than a month later."
