All we are trying to do is allow Massachusetts VOTERS to decide whether or not those who break the law to illegally enter the country should be rewarded with a state-issued driver's license. ICYMI, the Legislature passed this law a few months ago. Not a single Republican voted for it. The governor vetoed it. And the Beacon Hill Democrats, because all of them are in the pocket of far-left special interest donors, still went and rammed it through. They tore up signature sheets at the Drum Hill Market Basket in Chelmsford. They brought in a Waltham city councilor to intimidate potential signers in Waltham. Radical state Sen. Jamie Eldridge (D-Venezuela) has been a regular fixture at our signature collection drives in Hudson, doing his best to turn people away from our tables.
