John,
President Biden is planning to make a deal in the Middle East this week, but it is not the Iran nuclear deal that he promised to restore on the campaign trail.
Tonight, the President will depart for Israel and then Saudi Arabia to propose new American investments in regional conflict and offer unconditional support for our unaccountable so-called partners. Only 1 in 4 Americans support Biden’s trip, and the President himself has struggled to defend his flip flop from promising to hold Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman accountable.
The Biden Administration is pivoting once again towards blind support for Saudi Arabia, Israel and the UAE. All the while slipping closer and closer to war with Iran. Not for human rights, not for cheaper gas, for the sake of nothing more than defense dollars and relationships built on decades of mismanaged Middle East policy.
This is a major decision point for the Biden Administration and the future of the U.S. role in the Middle East. That's why NIAC is continuing to press the administration directly on the urgency of recommitting to the Iran nuclear deal and is pushing back on efforts to exacerbate the region's tensions. This week, for instance, we are supporting several legislative efforts [[link removed]] that will go to to a vote in the House to demand answers from the White House and block efforts to stoke conflict.
With the Biden administration failing to show leadership, we can’t afford to sit on the sidelines. Can you support NIAC's advocacy efforts by making a tax-deductible donation of $20 right now? [[link removed]]

The facts are still on our side. Biden can’t bomb his way out of the nuclear crisis like our opponents want. Sanctions aren’t punishing the Iranian government but instead the Iranian people. And if oil is all that Biden cares about, restoring the Iran deal can do far more to lower global oil prices than a dubious pact with bin Salman.
NIAC hasn’t given up. We believe that serious diplomacy in pursuit of lasting peace is possible and necessary. If you’re just as determined as us, chip in $20 right now so we can continue pressing the Biden administration to do the right thing. [[link removed]]

Hopeful for progress.
