John,

In just a second, we’re going to ask if you can make a $3 contribution to support our work to Defend the Senate in November. But first, here are 3 things you should know today:

FiveThirtyEight forecasts that Senate control is a “toss-up.” We have a real shot at defending — and expanding — our Senate majority, but it’s not going to be easy.

We’re seeing tight polling across the country. From Nevada to Georgia to Arizona, Democratic incumbents are locked in close races with extreme Republican candidates. We cannot afford to come up short in a single one of these races.

It’s never been more important that we win this fall. So much is on the line — from the right to a safe, legal abortion to meaningful action on gun safety. We need a strong Democratic majority to protect our rights and make real progress in our country.

So we’re asking: Can you make a $3 contribution today to help us defend and expand our Democratic majority?[[link removed]]

$3 may not sound like much, but if everyone reading this email chips in, we would have the resources in no time to reach voters in key battleground states. Your contribution could make a real difference.

Thanks for your support,

Defend the Senate
