Do Congressional Republicans really want gas to be affordable again? It doesn’t seem like it. 

When given the chance to vote on a bill that would lower gas prices by holding big oil accountable for price gouging, Congressional Republicans overwhelmingly voted to keep prices high. Yet they never missed a chance to loudly blame Democrats for high prices at the gas pump. 

And now that prices are starting to creep back down, they’re still not willing to work across the aisle to find more solutions and push prices down even further?? Let’s face it, Congressional Republicans clearly don’t want prices to go down. Plain and simple. They would rather make Americans suffer if it meant the opportunity to win more power.
