After the awful violence in Highland Park on July 4th, Georgia’s own national embarrassment Marjorie Taylor Greene wasted no time in spreading baseless conspiracy theories about the shooting.

In her hour-plus rant, she falsely claimed that the shooter was a “leftist” and that the July 4th shootings were false flags “designed to persuade Republicans to go along with more gun control.” As a victim of gun violence myself, I get a pit in my stomach when I hear these kinds of falsehoods spread in the headlines by far-right Republicans.

We simply can not accept these dangerous lies from a fellow member of Congress. Sign my letter to Marjorie Taylor Greene on behalf of victims of gun violence everywhere to demand she apologize for her comments.
