The January 6th Committee has been building a clear and convincing criminal case against Trump and his administration for inciting an insurrection on January 6th.

Today, their investigation once again featured The 147. We now know that Brian Babin, Andy Biggs, Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Andy Harris, Jody Hice, Jim Jordan, and Scott Perry all personally met and plotted with then-President Trump to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election.

Debbie Lasko in fact warned Congress that things were going to get violent on January 6th the night before the insurrection:

“I also ask leadership to come up with a safety plan for members. I’m actually very concerned about this because we have Trump supporters who actually believe that we are going to overturn the election. And when that doesn’t happen, they are going to go nuts.”

And she still voted against certifying Biden’s 2020 victory, knowingly and deliberately sparking violence in a desperate attempt to keep Trump in office.

The stakes for the 2022 midterm elections couldn’t be higher. As former Oathkeeper, Jason Van Tatenhove, put it: “I have a daughter and a granddaughter. I fear for the world that they will inherit if we don't start holding these people to account." If The 147 are continuing to defend their action on January 6th when a former Oathkeeper has come to his senses, we’re just going to have to hold them accountable ourselves.
