Oswego receives award
for financial reporting
For the nineteenth consecutive year, the Village of Oswego received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA).
?Our finance team works hard each year to prepare this report to share with the community. ?We remain committed to transparency in all areas, but especially our finances,? said Village President Troy Parlier.
A significant form of recognition in government accounting and fiscal reporting, the Village earned this award for its annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2021.? According to the GFOA, the report met the highest standards for full disclosure and demonstrates clear communication of the Village?s finances.
