In the coming weeks, we will be connecting you with the projects and organizations coming together to fight for our democracy. We’ll be working together to create ways for all of us to share our ideas to combat Trumpism, and to organize ourselves to meet the threats to democracy across the country.
You’ve grown The Union from 43,206 when first we emailed you to over 50,000. The people many of you asked to join are stepping up.
Our task this week is to get the word out on social media.

This will do two things:
Encourage more to join The Union. You might have joined because a friend asked you to. You are the most powerful tool in our arsenal. You. And the more people who join, the more people we can connect with the right volunteer opportunities to make a difference.
Let everyone know: You are not alone in this fight. So many people right now have their heads down. They’re tired. And it makes a lot of sense. The news is not good. We are facing a coordinated war on our democracy. But take heart. There are more of us than them. The autocratic movement only wins if we do nothing.
You are the solution.
We can’t save this country by waiting on miracles. Hope is not a strategy. That’s why we can’t wait for the Washington D.C. political committees to act. They don’t see the danger or know how to fight it. Americans have to band together and do the work ourselves.
We are building the strongest political coalition of people and organizations in American history because the task before us demands it.
This is what we’re about. The Union will connect people with the right jobs, teams, and the right tasks to empower them to fight back and win. We’ll help match your drive and your skills with causes, campaigns, and candidates who need your help to save this nation.
