It may seem like a lifetime away, but we’re gearing up for the November elections – and we want you to come along.

Every month, starting on July 14th, we want to meet with you. Whether you’re a member, a volunteer, or at the beginning of your DFA journey and interested in getting more involved – we want to talk DFA strategy, programs, and candidates.

The first of these meetings will be July 14th at 6:00 PM Eastern Time on Zoom. Let us know if we’ll see you there.

During this month’s meeting, you’ll get to know DFA candidates who have elections in July:
- Donna Edwards, running for Maryland’s 4th Congressional District
- Mckayla Wilkes, running for Maryland’s 5th Congressional District
- Vi Lyles, running for Mayor of Charlotte, NC
- Lawana Mayfield, running for Charlotte City Council

We’ll also have a brief election look-ahead at our August primaries, and give you an exclusive inside look at what’s coming next for DFA. (Did someone say postcards?) But we don’t just want to hear ourselves talk – we want to hear from you!

We want your feedback about how DFA engages with its members and volunteers. Are there candidates we should be looking at? Engagement opportunities we haven’t thought of? Is there a supreme court case or legislation you’d like to hear more about?

As a national organization that operates across time zones, we understand that schedules can be tricky. If you are unable to attend, you can still sign up to volunteer or donate to support our programs, and we'll keep you posted with any updates.
