Despite the Biden regime’s blustering and buffoonish attempts to find a scapegoat for skyrocketing gas prices, it’s almost as if devastating the American economy is actually their intention.
They can’t even keep their story straight. The whole administration tried to label the gas prices as “Putin’s price hike”- a ludicrous angle that, if anyone took it seriously, would mean Putin controls America. That too would be a scathing indictment of the Biden regime’s incompetence.
It was also ridiculous because, as many people pointed out, the price of gas was skyrocketing before the war in Ukraine began.
Then last May, Joe Biden himself let the cat out of the bag: crippling gas prices are actually a good thing, because it will force people to transition to electric vehicles.
Biden gushed that the pump pain was part of “an incredible transition” of the U.S. economy away from fossil fuels.
“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said.
His Energy Secretary, Jennifer Granholm, echoed the sentiment, saying high gas prices are “a very compelling case” to buy an electric car.
“If you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you,” she sneered.
Evidently, she doesn’t know how much new cars cost these days. Or where most of our electricity comes from.
All of this was part of the plan.
Remember, when he was running for office, Joe Biden told America on the debate stage:
“No more drilling, including offshore. No ability for the oil industry to continue to drill, period. Ends. Number one.”
It’s the Great Reset agenda.
The World Economic Forum recently argued in a paper that higher gas taxes were critical to “save democracy.”
“The leading democracies of the G20 should collectively commit to phasing out cost and tax breaks for the production and consumption of fossil fuels. They should also phase in more efficient [higher] pricing of fossil fuels through taxes or tradable permits to cover the costs of local air pollution, global warming, and other economic damages,” they wrote.
Those at the WEF and their supporters – Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Al Gore, etc. – want to keep their private jets and mansions, but also want to force you to get rid of your car or pay dearly through more taxes and higher prices.
The destruction of our energy independence causing sky-high price inflation (on top of the inflation caused by the Fed) isn’t an unintended consequence. . .
It’s the plan.
And more than ever, the Biden regime has been abusing executive power to impose policies it knows Congress can’t pass.
We’ve seen the FDA issuing “emergency” authorization to approve untested drugs for children as young as 6 months old, in the name of fighting Covid-19, a disease that poses a lower risk to young children than the ordinary flu.
The FDA has become an agency that declares its own law, enforces its own law, and adjudicates its own law, with children now the victims of this power grab.
They ignored, violated, and discarded their own laws and rules limiting the marketing of drugs, and pushed them onto children, who are now being denied medical services, including transplants, unless they take these inadequately tested “vaccines.”
Likewise, Biden halted the Keystone XL pipeline on his first day in office, with no congressional oversight, and the U.S. Supreme Court had to stop the EPA from writing their own rules without congressional authorization.
It’s time to DEMAND Congress rein in the Biden regime’s abuses of power and STOP the Great Reset agenda.
Patriot, it may seem impossible to believe the current Congress will take action against the Biden regime, but with inflation on the rise and the daily dose of bad news we keep hearing, more and more Democrats are turning on Biden and trying to save their own jobs.
There is NEVER a better time to make your voice heard than during a heated election season!
And if polls are to be believed, the Democrats loyal to the Biden administration and Great Reset agenda won’t be in the majority much longer.
So if the majority won’t act NOW, it is critical you and I make certain Republicans know we demand action when they return to power.
Every congressional office keeps track of how many of their constituents are speaking out on which issues.
We must make our voices heard because your silence is taken as consent.
Even if your representative and senators are Democrats, they need to hear from you – because the tide IS turning from the Biden regime’s “America Last” agenda.
It’s no coincidence the two senators who saved the filibuster were from swing states. At the end of the day, politicians hate to lose, and they hate to lose their majorities even more. Let’s push more into the margins.
Congress can stand up to Biden. Politicians still have to fear getting tossed out of office, so they have no choice but to listen when you and I raise enough of a ruckus. And with the Democrats' slim majorities in the House and Senate, our chances are even better.
