The Fight for Roe v. Wade
The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Abortion is still legal in New Jersey, but for other states, that’s not the case. Many have been fearing this decision for years, and now that it’s here, Mikie is fighting back against anti-choice rollbacks of our freedom and working to restore Roe and our rights.
Historic Gun-Safety Measures
Mikie voted for our country’s first comprehensive gun-safety law in decades and sent it to the president’s desk. This will strengthen background checks and mental health resources and help keep victims of domestic abuse safe.
Supporting our Service Members & Tackling Climate Change
Climate change is an issue of national security, and Mikie is giving it the attention it demands. She advanced a bill that would reduce greenhouse gases, invest in clean energy, and reduce our reliance on foreign oil. It would also improve childcare for our servicemen and women and secure funding for Picatinny Arsenal here in NJ-11.
Fighting to Bring Federal Tax Dollars Back to NJ-11
Earlier this year, Mikie secured federal funding for ten community projects to address critical issues facing NJ-11 such as water quality, local infrastructure improvements, lowering the cost of childcare, and more -- without putting a tax burden on towns and boroughs. She is now fighting for 14 new community projects that will make housing and college tuition more affordable, upgrade local health care facilities, improve public safety, and mitigate flood risks.
