Today I’m coming to you with some upsetting news:

"Cost of insulin driving Americans into debt, new study finds" -The Hill

For millions of Americans with diabetes, insulin is a life-saving medical necessity.

But right now, the cost of insulin is financially out of reach for so many. And it’s only getting higher.

No one should have to go into debt to stay alive. No one should have to see their life-saving medication as a luxury.

That’s why capping the out-of-pocket cost of insulin at $35 is one of my top priorities.

In Congress, I will put people first — not Big Pharma and insurance companies — by working to make affordable health care and prescription drugs a reality. If you’re with me, can you chip in $3 to my Democratic campaign now? » [[link removed]]

$3,500 GOAL: CHIP IN $3 NOW TO ELECT NIKKI BUDZINSKI » [[link removed]]

Earlier this year, the House passed legislation to cap the price of insulin at $35, but 193 Republicans voted against this critical bill. This is why defending and expanding our Democratic majority is so important.

If Republicans succeed in taking back power this November, they will continue to put profit over people and undermine our broken healthcare system.

I know I can flip this critical seat and deliver for Illinois working families, but I need you by my side in this fight.

Republicans will fight HARD to keep this seat — they know that we can win it. So, will you chip in $3 right now to our grassroots fight to send a champion for working families to Washington? » [[link removed]]
