I’m honored and humbled to have the Sierra Club endorsement as I run for Maryland Attorney General.

I am proud to be associated with the goals and work of the Sierra Club.

Friends, Maryland needs an Attorney General who takes the climate crisis seriously and will act urgently to secure a healthy, green future for all our children. That’s why I’m running.

We must focus on protecting and preserving our great national treasure, the Chesapeake Bay. With 110,000 miles of creeks, rivers, and streams flowing into the Chesapeake, we all have a stake in ensuring clean water.

We must also focus on environmental justice and repairing the harm done by environmental hazards such as air pollution, lead exposure, and improper waste disposal. These hazards impact tens of thousands of Marylanders, disproportionately impacting minority communities.

Climate change is one of our gravest national security threats. We must invest in renewable energy, cut greenhouse emissions, and build 21st-century infrastructure, prioritizing green public transportation.
