At midnight tomorrow, we'll make our numbers public with the FEC for the very last time before Election Day.
John,
In a moment, we're going to sincerely ask for your first donation to help keep Cori in Congress before our final pre-primary FEC filing deadline tomorrow at midnight.
But first, we want to remind you what we're up against in this race:
- Four Democratic challengers with backing from corporate PACs and dark money groups. Attacks started months ago, and we can guarantee mailboxes and TVs will be flooded with even more before Election Day.
- Attacks from far-right media including Fox News. Since Cori's first run for Congress, Tucker Carlson and members of Fox News have been trying to silence Cori and our movement through belittling and racist attacks.
- Lies and misinformation perpetuated by white supremacy. Every time our opponents spread hateful messages, our office receives an influx of violent, racist threats on Cori.
Here's why this is so important: At midnight tomorrow, we'll make our numbers public with the FEC for the very last time before Election Day — and all eyes are on our campaign to see if we have what it takes to re-elect Missouri's first Black Congresswoman.
John, we need to pick up the pace to hit $50,000 by midnight tomorrow. Please, will you chip in $5 or more immediately to power our organizing on the ground to reach the voters that will re-elect Cori?
Chip in $5
To say everyone will be watching what numbers we post is an understatement, John. Reporters have already started reaching out to ask if our grassroots, people-powered movement can withstand our corporate-backed opponents.
What we're able to raise before this deadline will directly impact the results on Election Day, so we hope we can count on your first donation to go directly toward our $50,000 goal.
Releasing strong fundraising numbers will show that we have the momentum to defeat our corporate-backed opponents and win, so we have to ask again: Can you chip in $5 or more today to help hit $50,000 before midnight tomorrow and keep Cori in Congress?
Thank you,
Team Cori
