Trump has always valued profits and corporate donors over the environment, but now he’s officially started the formal process to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Climate Agreement -- the biggest international effort to fight climate change.
Without the U.S. staying on board and slashing our emissions, we’re going to face the worst case scenario of climate change. We’re already facing some of the effects now, with more extreme storms and ocean acidification, and scientists warn they’ll get drastically worse in the next two decades if we don’t commit to the goals in the agreement.
