Legislation Save Our Sequoias Act introduced in Congress A bipartisan group of House members has introduced new legislation to stem the massive, unprecedented loss of giant sequoias to catastrophic wildfire. Among other actions, the Save Our Sequoias Act declares an emergency to expedite much-needed work on the ground. Save the Redwoods League has endorsed the legislation. Protect Donors help us reach fundraising goal for Atkins Place Nearly 3,000 donors from across the United States and the globe helped the League raise the funds needed to permanently protect Atkins Place, a vital 453-acre redwood landscape in Mendocino County.
