The new Liberal government announced its priorities in yesterday’s Throne Speech.

More federal intrusions into provincial jurisdictions.

More useless subsidies to fight climate change.

More alignment with UN socialist dogmas and campaigning for a Security Council seat.

More spending and deficits.

They’re also promising some modest tax cuts. I’m all in favour of that, as long as it’s not paid with borrowed money.

But the Liberals have no understanding of sound public finances. All they do is buy votes and send the bill to future taxpayers.

John, don’t expect the Conservatives and their weak leader to put up a real fight against this disastrous plan.

On each of these points, they essentially agree with the Liberals.

Only one party offers a completely different vision: the People’s Party.

We must continue the work we started a year ago.
