In 2018, incumbent Danny Davis tried to keep us off the ballot with frivolous court challenges designed to drain time and money from our campaign. The courts ruled in our favor, but we lost critical resources we needed to reach voters.
What we saw in 2018 was the incumbent protection machine in full force. It will try to stop us again.
But we won’t let that happen this time. That’s why we need your help to stop the machine and keep us from falling short this year. The challenges in our district have only gotten worse. It's more important than ever to elect a true progressive champion who will fight for the people, not protect special interests.
