Week-in-Review
Dear Mr. xxxxxx,
As I head back to D.C. after a busy week in Texas, I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:
Last Wednesday, I made my way down to Military City USA to visit Fort Sam Houston and Joint Base San Antonio. I had a great tour of the Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), Medical Education and Training Camps (METC), broke bread with soldiers and was briefed by the 502nd Air BaseWing on their important work supporting San Antonio’s military bases.
I also visited Eagle Pass and witnessed the border crisis firsthand. I’ve been to border cities just like Eagle Pass countless times, and each time the crisis at the border is worse.
You can watch my video from the border here.
On Friday, Biden’s CBP Commissioner Chris Magnus finally released the findings of their months-long investigation into allegations of CBP agents “whipping” migrants at the border – allegations that were echoed by President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas themselves. The investigation found, “The agents involved in the Del Rio activity were not carrying whips ... no evidence Border Patrol agents involved in this incident struck any person.” But what is clear is that this administration can't miss a chance to destroy the morale of our overrun, hardworking Border Patrol for political gain. Secretary Mayorkas has proven he is willing to put the depraved media’s narrative ahead of the truth. He doesn't deserve to lead the good men and women of Border Patrol. See my full statement here.
Additionally, I demanded answers from Galveston National Laboratory’s former director about its partnership with the Wuhan Institute of Virology. I am committed to fighting for Congressional oversight over the origins of COVID-19 and US scientists’ ties to adversarial governments.
Finally, I joined Fox News to continue to raise the alarm about the border crisis endangering America. Make no mistake: this is an INVASION, as described in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, and it’s time to formally declare that.

Here are some news stories about what I’ve been up to lately:
