Donald Trump and his cronies in Washington found money in the budget to give a tax break to millionaires, but now he’s taking away SNAP benefits from almost 700,000 vulnerable families? This appalls me.

Families and their children who rely on food stamps are not lazy or taking advantage of taxpayers. They are quite simply trying to feed their family, and most rely on this safety net for less than 8 months.

Today, the Trump Administration is saying they don’t care if the most vulnerable -- seniors and children -- among us go hungry.

I will not stand for this. We need 10,000 signatures to send to Washington to show that Texans are here to look after their own.
