Since we emailed you last week with part three of our insurrection survey series, there have been some groundbreaking new developments in the January 6 Committee’s work. Pat Cippollone, Trump’s former White House counsel, testified before the committee for almost eight hours last Friday. A spokesperson for the committee has said it “received critical testimony on nearly every major topic in its investigation.” [1]
News also broke that Steve Bannon, one of Trump’s closest advisors, has also agreed to testify to the committee. [2]
Q1: The January 6 Committee hearings are scheduled to resume today, with a hearing expected to focus on extremist groups like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers and how they were involved in the deadly insurrection. Do you plan to watch the hearing that will take place today at 1:00 PM ET?
