If you look at the Senate map for 2022, there are very few states that will be as competitive as Wisconsin.
Let us explain:
Whether or not Democrats defend their majority in the Senate will be determined by what happens in a few states where we have the chance to win Republican-held seats.
One of those states is Wisconsin.
The Cook Political Report rates Wisconsin's Senate race a toss-up, which means it's going to be close. Very close. In 2020, Joe Biden won Wisconsin by a margin of only 20,000 votes. And in 2016, Trump carried the state by around 23,000 votes.
Ron Johnson has been named the most vulnerable Republican Senator up for election this year – but defeating a well-funded incumbent won't be easy. Especially one who is backed by special-interest donors and Mitch McConnell's super PACs that will do and spend whatever it takes to try to defeat Mandela.
The ONLY way we'll flip this seat is if we're in this together — and that is why we need to ask:
