John,

At Reproaction, we work hard to uplift and spread the word about self-managed abortion with pills, which allow individuals to manage their own abortions in the privacy of their own homes. We also understand that people may want a clinic-based abortion and are committed to preserving and expanding access to that necessary care.

Everyone should have easy and reliable access to the abortion care that works best for them.

Unfortunately, even before the overturning of Roe, clinic-based abortion care was rapidly shrinking. Burdensome and unnecessary regulations, denial of funding coverage for care, and, quite frankly, anti-abortion harassment, has made keeping abortion providers open difficult.

This has always been the anti-abortion movement’s goal. We are still standing strong with clinics and providers.

And now, in the chaos post-Dobbs, medical training for the next generation of abortion providers is poised to become that much more difficult. This threatens access to abortion further still, even in states where abortion remains legal. [1]

The anti-abortion movement wants to make abortion impossible. Don’t let them.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson
Executive Director, Reproaction

P.S. We’ve been naming “pro-life” medicine for what it is: harmful quack. Donate to help us continue.
