Hi John,
Up to 72 threatened grizzlies near Yellowstone National Park could be killed — just so livestock can graze on public lands.
We've gone to court to stop this ruthless killing, and we need you with us.
Please give now to the Saving Life on Earth Fund to support our fight to save Yellowstone's grizzlies.
Trump's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service first issued this plan in 2019. The Service still wants to turn over parts of Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest to industry — and grizzlies could pay for it with their lives.
We took legal action to block it, but a district court just kept the plan alive. Now we're appealing that decision in order to save these bears. And we won't let up.
Female grizzlies with cubs have been documented occupying the areas where bears will be targeted. But the Service never even considered how many female bears could be killed — one of many illegal flaws in the Service's authorization to kill these bears.
Giving the go-ahead to kill wildlife as a favor to industry is exactly the kind of thinking that has fueled the extinction emergency.
We've got to fight the killing of bears and other wildlife. The government has an obligation to protect rare and vulnerable species, not sacrifice them to boost industry profits.
Yellowstone's grizzlies are still threatened, which makes the Service's move that much more infuriating.
These bears are some of the most beloved in the world. We're not about to let them get picked off without a fight.
Stopping the extinction crisis means fighting for species wherever they're in peril.
It means never abandoning the species we love, like grizzlies, but standing up for them at every turn.
Please give today to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.
For the wild,
