It’s official (well, according to him) – former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is now a Michigan resident. He’s supposedly making the move to be closer to family, but I doubt that’s the whole story. In just the past few years, Pete has been: a failed mayor, a failed presidential candidate, and now, a failed secretary of transportation. And you can bet Pete knows he has a much better chance of winning statewide office in Michigan than in Indiana.
His radical, arch-liberal views just don’t work here in the Hoosier State, so he’s abandoning Indiana Democrats for greener electoral pastures.

Mayor Pete has a knack for failing his constituents, so he should fit right in with far-left Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. And, frankly, our neighbors to the north are welcome to claim him.
