The Hill: "[In CA-41] there are signs that Democrats just might be able to pull off a win."

In an election year expected to be tough for Democrats, The Hill reports that Will’s race is one of the few “bright spots” where we have a chance to win. Here's the latest in our race to flip CA-41:

» For the first time in our district's history, Democrats now hold a narrow registration advantage. Registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans in this district.

» The latest public polling in our race shows us neck and neck with Ken Calvert in a General Election matchup. 42% of likely voters support Will with 41% backing Calvert.

» Results from last month’s primary show that a majority of voters rejected Ken Calvert. For the first time in over a decade, Calvert’s earned vote share was below 50%. Meanwhile, Democrats were within just 2% of Calvert.

» After the encouraging primary results, the nonpartisan election forecasters at Cook Political Report upgraded our chances of flipping CA-41.
