Folks —

These past few weeks have been incredibly difficult. My heart is heavy for the family, friends, and loved ones of the victims in the mass shootings in Highland Park, Uvalde, and Buffalo, and for every person who knows the pain of losing a loved one to senseless gun violence.

No one should be worried to go to school, church, the grocery store, or a parade — but that’s the reality in our nation where we don’t even have time to fully process one tragedy before the next one strikes. Gun violence has taken far too many innocent lives, and I won’t stand to let it continue to wreak havoc across the country.

While the Senate just passed the first major gun safety legislation in decades, it simply isn’t enough. This legislation addressed dangerous loopholes and added funding toward mental health care — important steps to address our nation’s gun violence epidemic, but we can’t stop here. There’s still so much work we need to do to make our communities safer.

We must do more to protect our families. Can you add your name today to join me in demanding the Senate prioritize passing more gun safety legislation?
