The New York Times: “Microsoft Pledges Neutrality in Union Campaigns at Activision” June 13, 2022
As workers at video game maker Activision Blizzard unionize, Microsoft’s president promised to respect that his employees are “capable of making decisions for themselves and they have a right to do that.”
That’s the way it should be.
The rest of corporate America needs to take notes. Other corporations like Amazon and Starbucks are intimidating workers and undermining their union drives.
The majority of Americans support unions. (That’s the highest support in over 50 years.)
We need everyone standing with workers and their right to organize and putting pressure on corporations to support them.
