OCA-Tucson: COVID-19 Update & Acupuncture Event

“COVID-19 Update & Acupuncture” was presented at eHotPot on June 13, 2022. OCA Tucson hosted the program thanks to a grant from Wells Fargo and the generosity of eHotPot. Twenty-five attendees represented AAPI, African American, and general community groups.

OCA-Greater Los Angeles: 40th Anniversary of the Murder of Vincent Chin Event

On June 23, OCA-GLA co-sponsored a commemoration of the "40th Anniversary of the Murder of Vincent Chin." More than 400 attendees joined the event in person at the Historic El Pueblo Monument in Downtown Los Angeles or watched the livestream on Facebook Live. ** The recording is available here. The commemoration included a candlelight vigil, performances, and inspiring remarks from distinguished speakers such as Renee Tajima-Pena, filmmaker of the iconic, award-winning documentary "Who Killed Vincent Chin."

Register for our free virtual Situational Awareness Workshop (SAW) and learn how to become an effective bystander against racism and discrimination. At the end of this training, each participant will have the tools to be able to intervene as a bystander whenever they see or experience harassment.
