Here at Ceres, it’s my job to ensure that our organization has the resources it needs to create a more sustainable world. Quite frankly, it’s a responsibility that weighs heavily on my shoulders. But not today! And that’s because of YOU.
That’s why I am writing to share my deepest gratitude for the generosity of this community. On behalf of our planet, and everyone at Ceres, thank you. Together, we raised more than $5,300 on Giving Tuesday, surpassing our expectations, and getting us that much closer to a sustainable future.
The overwhelming support we received from this community was nothing short of astonishing. In even more good news, we received more than 43 gifts, with 18 new donors committing themselves to protecting our planet, exceeding our goal! |
These funds are more than mere dollars and cents: They represent critical support for Ceres programs that can—that will—change the world.
This groundswell of support will go toward groundbreaking initiatives like our Ceres Accelerator—which aims to transform the practices and policies that govern capital markets in order to accelerate action on reducing the worst financial impacts of the climate crisis and other sustainability threats.
It’s programs like these that demonstrate why our work really matters, John. First we make the case for integrating sustainability into the marketplace, tomorrow we change the world.
