The Levy campaign obtained a copy of a scurrilous political attack being circulated by the Klarides campaign, the metadata of which indicates that the document itself originated with a Connecticut Government official. Levy called for a full investigation into whether taxpayer dollars were used inappropriately by a senior government official linked to the Klarides campaign. After being questioned about the validity of this claim, Themis Klarides later misdirected rather than deny any allegations of wrongdoing.
