Governor McKee is proud to be named a Gun Sense Candidate by Moms Demand Action and was honored to be joined by Shannon Watts last month, as he signed legislation to keep Rhode Islanders safe from gun violence.

Following the heartbreaking, senseless tragedies in Uvalde and Buffalo, Governor McKee urged Rhode Island legislators to take action and signed some of the nation’s best gun safety legislation.

Thanks to the Governor’s leadership, we’re reducing gun violence, protecting our children, and working to make sure all of our 39 cities and towns are safe, thriving communities.
