All too often, politics is icky. But João and I know that it can and should be a warmer, kinder place.

Before I ask for your support for the campaign, I just wanted to share a few fun moments from the past week that gave me all the feels. 😍

Yesterday, we stopped by the PA Democrats’ volunteer summit in Pittsburgh. Though John may have gotten a standing ovation when he walked in, he assured the crowd that I’m still everyone’s favorite. (Obviously) 😂

Earlier in the week, I convinced everyone to come with me to the beautiful Schwirian Farm Sunflower Festival in Monongahela. (Even Grace was thrilled — can you tell?)

We experienced the true beauty of a Western PA summer day among rows and rows of sunflowers! 🌻

Finally, look at this hilarious headline from my favorite Brazilian language newspaper: “Husband of Brazilian leads senate race in Pennsylvania.” ❤️

So basically, Gisele’s husband or “Giselo” 😂😂 .
